How does SYNTHESIS work?

SYNTHESIS works by creating new AutoCAD drawings based on your own "Master" or template drawings. You simply draw an AutoCAD drawing with VARIABLE dimension text, i.e., [WIDTH]. You can also control all of your drawing with variable: attributes, blocks, geometry, layers, text, scales, rotation, deletions, combinations, insertions, etc. Anything a draftsman can do manually, SYNTHESIS can do automatically in seconds.

The next step, once you have the intelligent Master Drawing, is to create a DESIGN. SYNTHESIS R16 will generate an ACCESS form with the database or Excel 2000 worksheet for you automatically from your Master Drawing. You can then use ACCESS or Excel to generate additional graphic user interface objects. You can take advantage of ACCESS  great data handling ability.

You can use Microsoft Access, Word, Excel or the SYNTHESIS SpecSheet program to generate your design data (or any of your existing applications that can create an ASCII file!). Once the data entry sheet is ready, you can begin creating new drawings automatically.

Now, from either within AutoCAD or from Microsoft Office 2000, Windows, Windows 95, 98 or NT 4.0, you can run your design application. The next step invokes the SYNTHESIS R16 Image Synthesizer to generate your new AutoCAD drawing. The drawing can be viewed or printed in any program which supports AutoCAD DXF format drawings.
